Note to Amy update
Note to Amy posted an update on their website.
They have the following to share;
With the summer coming to an end we figured we could do some that make you all feel happy again and not miss the sunshine too much.
First of all you might wanna check out our merch section on the website.
We thought it’d be nice to give away the Live Fast Die! sampler with every order. Regardless what you’re ordering. Of course we’ll throw in some stickers as well, and the shippingcosts are on us!
As if that isn’t enough, we also lowered all prices. Shirts are just 8 euro’s now, girlies 10 and cd’s 5.
Email us if you wanna have some stuff. Or come buy it at one of our shows.
Speaking of that, we have some nice shows coming up!
Together with Defuse and Ioma we’ll be going on the road for five days straight in September.
We bet we’re gonna have a ton of fun there, but feel free to come see if that’s true in Antwerpen (24/09), Rotterdam (25/09), Roosendaal (26/09), Den Haag (27/09) or Ridderkerk (28/09).
If for some reason you can’t make it during the month September, then feel free to come check us out on October 25th when we’ll be playing the lovely W2 venue in Den Bosch with Face Tomorrow & Left.
There will be more shows soon, keep checking our website for that.
The shows we recently did in Eindhoven en Den Bosch turned out to be a blast and we’re pleased as hell that we see people coming to see us and supporting us.
A big thank you for that, and we couldn’t want a better start of this show-season.
Pictures of both events will be online soon.
Those who were there have noticed we’ve played some new songs. The upcoming shows we’ll slowly integrate even more new songs to our setlist as we’re writing new material for the full length we’re gonna try and have recorded early 2009.
Last but not least, for all you facebook users, we’ve created a band account there too.
Feel free to join us there and show that you love us! Check it out here!!
That’s all for now.
See you soon hopefully!
Discourse update
The Australian label "Still Thinking" recently released a free downloadable compilation, filled with amazing bands, including Discourse Avenue!
Make sure you check it out here.
While the reviews for Discourse's EP "November march" slowly come in prove to be amazing, the band has worked hard on finding a new guitarplayer after Simon's recent departure.
Henri will now take care off the guitar duties, and the band will be back full strength on stages near us all soon. So far two shows in Germany have been confirmed.
Keep an eye on the show-section to find out when they'll be playing near you!
To celebrate all this happy news, our offer on the new Discourse EP is still valid; buy it now for 6 euros and we'll ship it for free and throw in a Change The Station compilation of choice.
Send an email to eelco - @ - whiterussianrecords . com for more information or to order!
First DA review
Discourse Avenue's first EP on White Russian got a really nice review in Aardschok.

D.A. on online comp
If you head over to Still Thinking, the Austrian label, you can download an awesome online compilation with 25 tracks, including Discourse Avenue.

Do yourself a favor and grab it for free!
Discourse Avenue EP out now!
It's finally there!
Discourse Avenue's first EP on White Russian Records!
Check out some songs on their Myspace and then order it asap!
Order it through White Russian Records now by emailing eelco -@- whiterussianrecords . com, and you'll get it for six euro's.
And because we're stoked on this release, we'll throw in a nice Change The Station copy. Just tell us whether you want part 1, 2 or 3.
To be extra nice: we won't charge you shipping costs.
How's that huh!
More info on the album can be found here.
Discourse Avenue video!
The video for Discourse Avenue's track "The Reckoning" is done!
We're stoked.
The final curtain
This is it! The moment I have NOT been waiting for all along. I had to make this decision, because it felt like I lost all contact to the bands, the music and all the other things concerning WRR. Yeah people it is true:
I QUIT!
There, it is out. I want to thank Eelco for working with me (we WILL keep in touch), and all the bands who had faith in us (or in this situation: me) to help us out on the CtS releases. Eelco will continue the label and I hope to do some work for him in the future for White Russian Records. It has been fun. So...ehm... see ya!
Bart
March 2008 update
Change The Station III
Finally it’s here! It took more blood, sweat and tears then any other release so far, but goddamn, are we proud.
It contains twenty-one awesome bands with twenty-one awesome tracks. Not bad!
Be sure to pick it up from any of the participating bands, or order a copy through our store.
Discourse Avenue
Today we added the amazing track "The Reckoning" from the upcoming Discourse Avenue EP "November march EP" to our player on Myspace. Be sure to check the song. Right now we’re working hard to get it released asap.
We can promise you that you’ll be able to hold that disc firm in your hands in April. Check out their Myspace as they have quite some interesting shows coming up, and some lovely new merchandise as well!
Random other things
Note to Amy made a big update on their myspace by adding a bunch of pics from the last shows, and added some new shows. They made it into the semi finals of the BeachBattle. For now their EP "The Lady’s First Song" is digitally available through White Russian Records.
Spastik Spankers played a show in January in the Little Devil at the Europunk Fest. Once again they pulled of a Queers tribute. Albeit very drunk.
As they don’t remember too much of ’m (we asked ’m) they want to do it again asap, so well, if you have the guts to book them, let us know, and we’ll hook you up.
Digital sales are supposed to be hot. We are still working with downloadpunk.com for our catalogue, but we’re actively looking into getting our music out their digital through other platforms too.
If you have any suggestions, ideas or hints, please drop us a line. Any help is always appreciated.
Another thing is we’re setting up a new store. Ours isn’t the best in the world now, we realize, so give us some time.
In the meantime if you think you have things that would be interesting to our store, then let us know, we’ll be glad to trade you some cd’s/tapes for your stuff.
That’s it for March. We’re busy as ever. And excited bout the upcoming Discourse Avenue EP.
Hope you’re too!

2007
2006 has been a good year for us. We released the second outing of our Change The Station series, which we almost sold out in a few months, and got some pretty damn good reviews on that.
2007 will be a little different though. We're working on some new stuff, amongst them being a new release, most likely to be a split album between two bands we really enjoy. More info on that will be available soon of course!
Furthermore, we disabled the forum. There are better places to talk about punkrock then our forum, we will activate the option to post comments on our newsposts, which makes it all a little easier to stay on-topic, plus a lot of russian spammers found their way to our forum. At the moment Bart is working on a brand new website which we hope to present to you soon. Now just go check out our catalogue/shop, we lowered the prices on all our items!
Happy new year from the WRR team!
AllunderAge split with drummer
AllunderAge's statement regarding the drummer-split issue.
White Russian Records wishes Joris all the best in the future of course!
Maybe you´ve heard some rumours the last couple of months. After 6 and a half years playing together, Joris decided to leave the band. You can imagine his decision is a huge loss for us. After all, he was our engine that made us sound the way we like it.
Joris, thanks for the great times we had!
We´re currently making progress with finding a new drummer. Hopefully there´s more to tell in the next few weeks.
Rock Against Cancer
UK based label Sikotick Records will be releasing a compilation featuring 19 bands, of which the benefits will go to a fund helping to fight cancer and the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
We are very proud to say that AllunderAge will be appearing on the album and thus making a contribution to this wondeful project.
More info on availablity of the record will follow soon, for the complete press release from Sikotick, view the extended text. (more)

Buy or die!
Hello all!
As you might have noticed, our webstore has moved! It's no longer integrated in our catalogue on this site, except for the official White Russian releases, but can be found in our ebay store now.
There you can buy some really good albums, seven inches and what-have-you-not, plus the White Russian releases (for the same price as on our website) and pay by creditcard!
Isn't that great? We'll be slowly adding new stuff to there, so put it in your bookmarks and visit it every now and then.
If you only want some White Russian stuff you can of course you can still buy that here on the site, or -convenient for people from overseas- through our Interpunk account.
Spankers in studio...again!
Our beloved talents "Spastik Spankers" played a hell of a show last weekend in Den Bosch, and showed that despite of the lack of rehearsals they're still a pretty amusing and good rockband.
It made us very proud to have them on the artist-roster.
So we're very happy to announce that they're not yet splitting up - as they promised - au contraire, they're about to record again!
This saturdaymorning at 5:00 they'll be in the Bigmouth Studio again to record two new songs.
We know which songs, and let us just say, boy, you're gonna be freakin' surprised by that (they obviously didn't write the songs theirselves since they never rehearse).
More info on those songs, and maybe even some samples will be up here soon we hope. If they don't fuck it up.

The Spastik Spankers album is selling pretty well, the hundred handnumbered cd's and fifty handnumbered tapes -that come with a songbook- are more popular then we could have imagined!
That's why we're very happy to announce that the record is not only available in our little store, but through Interpunk as well!
The album will also be available during Spastik Spankers shows, although we all know there won't be too much of them.
June 24th will be one of those rare opportunities to see them live though.
The Spankers agreed to play a set on the Boschkilde festival at the W2 venue in their hometown.
If you have no clue what to expect from this record, it will be a good plan to keep checking here every now and then, we are awaiting some reviews, and they will probably look good.

Change The Station
The first official White Russian Records compilation record
“Change The Station” is slowly taking its form.
After spending two months on looking for bands that we thought would fit
on our first comp, we came up with eighteen tracks that are truly amazing.
Going from true old school punkrock to fast and furious hardcore, with punkrocking
songs and emo-breaks in between, this compilation is the record we would
love to play over and over and over.
We’re currently breaking our heads over the artwork and the final track-order,
but we’ll get more info to you on that soon.
For any questions regarding this compilation, feel free to send an email
to compilation [a] whiterussianrecords.com.
Welcome
...and a very good day to you all! This is the brand-new website of White Russian Records. Please surf around a bit and check out what we can do for you with this new punkrock record-label. You can check out some information about our Distribution deals and information about the records we want to release.
Keep an eye on the site to see the updates.
It will be updated as much as possible because of the fact that we just started.
Keep punkrock alive!
